In 1996, Cosmos Creative Academy’s story began with Maya’s foundation by Ketan Mehta and Deepa Sahi, pioneers in the animation industry. This marked the beginning of a groundbreaking era.
By 1998, the Animation Academy was established within Maya, aiming to train over 50,000 students in animation and VFX. Over the years, Maya evolved into Cosmos Maya, a global production line delivering projects for BBC, Disney, and Google, earning prestigious awards.
With significant expansions and partnerships, Cosmos Maya grew into India’s largest studio by 2010. They launched hit series like “Motu Patlu” and ventured into the digital domain with IPs like “Eena Meena Deeka” and Wow Kidz.
By 2019, producing 18 IPs, Cosmos Maya solidified its position as an industry powerhouse. Transitioning into 2021, Cosmos Creative Academy emerged, pioneering a new era of mentorship in animation and VFX, embracing the new normal and shaping the future of the industry.
Our ongoing endeavor involves the establishment of additional learning centers aimed at nurturing the talents of future artists. These centers offer comprehensive educational experiences coupled with access to advanced laboratory facilities.
